The most common art strategy used by artists, musicians, dancers, film-makers
Uses all of the principles
Repetition, Pattern, Variety, Contrast, Movement, Emphasis,
These are the elements you are going to repeat: Color, Shape, Line, Texture
1. Choose 3 items form your list of 35
2. In five minutes rip out as many images form magazines as you can. DOn't think about it. Tear it out if it speaks to you in any way.
3. Choose the magazine images that relate to one of your 3 items
4. Create a motif or them and cut out images
5. Arrange
6. Create an area of emphasis--this is where you have the most variation
7. Use your scraps
